St. Joseph’s N.S. (also known as Bekan N.S.) is a rural, co-educational primary school situated in Bekan village, Co. Mayo. The school currently has an enrolment of 164 pupils, a staff of six mainstream teachers, two special education teachers and three special needs assistants.
