Eucharistic Adoration:
  The annual 33 hour Adoration for the Tuam Diocese will be held in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Knock on
Thursday 11 [th] and Friday 12 [th] August. The Bekan Parish slot is from 6 - 7am on Fri. 12 [th] for anyone wishing to attend.
National Novena at Knock Shrine
: The National Novena at Knock Shrine is back from the 14 [th] to the 22 [nd] August.
Hear from guest speakers at 3pm and 8pm daily with something for everyone to feel enriched and inspired.

Lohan Park Group Home
has a vacancy for a caretaker/maintenance person part time 15 to 20 hours a week. A full clean driving licence is required as there will be some driving also. Life of a Rural River:
 A guided nature walk of the Dalgan River will be held on Saturday 13 [th] August from 10.30am. - 1.30pm. The walk will be led by a naturalist and marine expert, and will explore natural life in and around the river. Meet at the Friary car park, Abbey St., Ballyhaunis. This event is organised by Ballyhaunis Community Council as part of National Heritage
Week, and is funded by the Local Authority Waters Programme.
All are welcome. 
Eastern Gaels GAA Family Fun Day
will be held on Sunday 21 [st] August at Brickens GAA pitch at 2pm. Tug of War, Sheaf Throwing, Nail driving, Races, Penalty Competition, Wheel of Fortune and much more. A great day of fun for all the family. 
Brickens Greenway/Tom`s Lane Trail Committee
wish to thank the leaders and members of Brickens Foróige Club for taking responsibility for the painting of the picnic benches and seating on the trail. They are a credit to the club and their families and a great asset to the community.
