Music for a Midsummer`s Evening - Saturday 11 [th] June, Knock Basilica
An Evening of Inspiring Irish & Choral Music 'Music for a Midsummer`s Evening`, featuring the Palestrina Choir, Dublin, Soprano Rachel Croash, Mezzo Soprano Anne Marie Gibbons, the Marlborough Sinfonia, Organist Aleksandr Nisse and Conductor Blánaid Murphy. This will be a wonderful evening of inspiring Irish and choral music, with classics including Danny Boy and The Minstrel Boy, centred around the uplifting Vivaldi Gloria. Doors 6pm. Concert 7pm. Admission Free. Please note, while this is a free event, it will be on a first come, first served basis. Patrons are advised to arrive early, as there is limited seating available.
